Meet bricklayer apprentice Maia Lacharity. Maia began her trades journey in a try-a-trades program and was drawn to bricklaying because she wanted the ability to create beautiful building exteriors and preserve historic stone and brick structures.
Maia has been working in the industry since completing her Bricklayer Level 1 course and is scheduled to begin Level 2 in January.
She also did the Trowel Trades Training Association proud by placing third in the Jr. Spec Mix Bricklayer 500 competition!
Keep up the great work, Maia!
